Candy was a sweet girl. She could act bad,sort of like Joan Jett, She could win a T shirt contest. She blew the blues harp like nobody’s business. She had an abundunce of talet. We should of taken better care of our friends.Too many good people died from drugs and trying to find their line. She was as good as Joplin,maybe better,and thats not a lie- if you saw her.I still miss you Candy girl.RIP

I used to eat at Eddie Bohn’s Pig N Whisle after playing with my Dad’s band at the Moose at 7th and Sheridan, or at the VFW 501 just down colfax a few blocks,back in 1980, 81, 82. It was small but they had good food and always treated us with the best service. I was just telling my new wife about the Pig N Whistle and was looking forward to visiting upon our move back to Colorado. Too bad it burned down. I was not even aware it closed in 91, been out of the area for 30 years.
