I remember shopping at Fan Fare when I first moved to Denver in 1963. It was huge and a wondrous treasure trove for this formerly small-town girl. Didn’t know it was still there. Does it have historic status? No doubt it’s a fine example of its genre but it sure is uggggly!

it could be beautiful again … I’ve always wondered what this used to be – needs to be saved!
