Here in Denver, we have been lucky to get the KCDO channel, a relatively new station located on Channel 3. Watching KCDO is like stepping into a time machine. They have been broadcasting old TV shows from the Retro Television Network (along with their own programming, plus great local TV commercials). These days, reruns of great classic TV shows are hard to come by.

I haven’t quite figured out their schedule yet, but I have have seen Beverly Hillbillies, McHales Navy, Hogan’s Heroes, The Munsters, Star Trek, Hawaii Five-0 & Mission Impossible.

Sure, you can buy DVDs of these old shows (often with the music changed to stock music due to copyrights), but most of us wouldn’t buy them or wouldn’t make the effort to pop one in to sit down and watch. But, if you can just turn on your TV at a random hour and there is a good chance of great 1950s-60s-70s television, you can’t help but to stop changing channels and sit and enjoy. And, they seem to zero in on the choice classic episodes. Thanks KCDO!

KDCO is (was) a GREAT channel. Unfortunately they’re no longer an RTV affiliate and soon might be moving away from Classic TV. Here’s More info:

well, well if it isn’t the second class channel 3 which can’t seem to be able to get their closed caption figured out. Why don’t you check with the other channels in the Denver area to see how they do it?

I would like to know why you took off Odd Couple & Streets of San Francisco?
I’m 6 1/2 years older then my husband he has always heard me talk about those shows from the 70’s.
We looked forward to watching Streets every Saturday.
Then we would start our day.
Will it be back anytime soon.
You can keep Hardcastle and Mccormick in the can.
I’m 51 I really miss them Thank You for keeping Mission Impossible.

Last Friday,5-15-11 at 5:30 pm you aired part 1 of a 2 part Hawaii 5-0. I expected to see the second part today, 5-18, but it was not on. When can I expect to see part 2.

I enjoy watching the shows on KDCO. But the signal is weak for viewers here in Morrison, CO. Even on calm days the signal is choppy, especially in the late afternoon. Can you boost the signal for viewers over by the foothills? Thank you for your consideration.

This channel is becoming more and more modern. They are canceling shows, and replacing them with ones that won;t get many more viewers.

We are unhappy with the new line up this week (09.06.11). We come home and love to watch Starsky and Hutch, Rockford Files and Hawaii Five O in the early evening. Now we come home to Jerry Springer. Are you kidding me?? This is ridiculous. We’d like to see you go back to these classic shows being broadcast as they were. You’re losing our viewership with shows like Jerry Springer rather than the old classics in the late afternoon/early evening. It’s too bad. We really enjoyed your channel with the old classics, not the new crap. Thanks.

lOVE YOUR STATION. wATCH BLACK SHEEP, WHEN i CAN FIND IT. Sat. 6pm and Sun. At 7pm.
But I missed it od 9/11, I guess you moved it to 6pm? Please show it more.I have worked hard to get an Antanna to pull in your station.
So please keep BLACK SHEEP on and at the same times so we don’t miss it.

Really bummed out that you moved Trek to an earlier time slot and put Jerry Springer at 10:30pm, and what a load of garbage that show is. I looked forward to watching Trek before going to sleep, now I just watch Seinfeld on CW2 and that has to do for me. Please put Trek and Mission Impossible back at 10:30 and 11:30!

Old shows are great… but shows like Colorado Now and Consumer news is more of what this station needs!! topics local to Denver! Colorado now on Sunday eve, and CNTV on Sunday mornings… why not rotate these a few more times.

about par with the past/current media’s attitude towards this country’s military…
they, nor their story counts to you does it…
just your friggin money.

KCDO, I have always liked the way the station reruns popular shows that are not on any other cable or network channel. I think that the station is slipping past what got the station going. I would like to suggest to invest in more of the “hard to find” TV classics, such as “The Wild Wild West”, “My Favorite Martian” and move “Mission Impossible” back to more of a viewer friendly time slot. More of the classic reruns, less of the “Jerry Springer” type programming.
