Seasons Greetings from Zeckendorf Plaza

A seasonal late-60s-era holiday shot of Zeckendorf Plaza, with lights displayed under the hyperbolic-paraboloid roof and out in the plaza over the ice skating rink.

A famous “lost” I. M. Pei & Associates design, the plaza was built in 1959 and sadly torn
down in 1996.

One Response to “Seasons Greetings from Zeckendorf Plaza”

Great Stuff!
Thank you for your collection…it’s beautiful!

The Zeckendorf Plaza was magical and a sign that corruption in government is always a distinct possibility whenever the “city council” or some other band of nit-wits have their eye on a prize and will cram it down the throats of the public.

The Zeckendorf Plaza was not only beautiful but served at a logical wow point on the 16th street abomination.

Their excuses were lame as to why it needed to be razed.

Thanks again for your Denver project…I certainly appreciate it.
